about

It is assumed that, besides being known as a lover of good music, I'm a novelist, and therefore should be able to write to a review, articulate sentences. However when listening to the record of Guillermo Rozenthuler and Edward Simon, I cannot come up with more than these loose words: simplicity, subtlety, truth, excellence, refinement, good taste, warmth and originality.
If this serves as an introduction to this record, so be it. If not, I can only say that it would be unforgivable to miss out on this gem of an album."

Diego Paszkowski - author

It was difficult to make a ‘desert island’ selection of Latin American songs. They are so many, so diverse and rich. I feel l left more out than the ones I could include. I went through some of my favorite composers and musical styles. I hope Agora is the first of many albums where I can include more beautiful songs and keep exploring this repertoire full of treasures.
There are some common themes in these songs. The moon. Love. Infinity, the dance with the unknown. Treasuring little moments. Memories written in the body. Nature and the wisdom of the Earth.

I sing with three leading Tango ensembles: the London Tango Orchestra, Sexteto Cristal and Cuarteto Rotterdam.
